Raw food or kibble? What did your vet say?

Yoni Gold

· Ramat Gan

Our border collie is two and has a sensitive stomach. Friends keep recommending a raw diet, our vet is cautious about it, and the internet has strong opinions either way.

I'm not looking for an argument, just experiences. If you switched, what did your vet recommend, and what changed?

Our vet suggested trying a good kibble with a single protein source before changing everything. That alone settled our dog's stomach.

We feed a mix. The main thing our vet stressed was hygiene with raw meat, especially with kids at home.

Whatever you choose, change it slowly over a week or two.
